I was born and raised in Amsterdam,
trained as a graphic designer, but got lost, and found, in the Theatre.
I have worked as an independent light designer on theater and contemporary dance productions – and on both national and international assignments, including events, museums, exhibitions and architectural projects.
Having always been fascinated by the medium of light, over the years I discoverd new ways to express myself through another art form; converting spatial light into photographic images. These can be either figurative, portraits, abstract or more graphic images. All these works consist of an amalgamation of my own photographs, carefully layered imagery,
slowly built up into a unique digital universe.
